A :- Master of Bioscience (MBS) at KGI. I chose this course as it is one of the best Professional science masters (PSM) in the US.
Q :- Why did you choose the USA for higher education?
A :- PSM courses are available only in the US.
Q :- How is Keck Graduate Institute of Applied Life Sciences different than any other USA University based on whatever you have heard from your friends about?
A :- It is a very unique college because it teaches both science and business, so the course work is really tough, but the value received from these courses is also very high.
Q :- Are you happy with your decision?
A :- Yes, 100% happy.
Q :- Please share some of your experiences of the USA for aspiring students
A :- USA is a fun country. It gives you a totally new experience if you haven’t been to a developed country before, but it is definitely worth coming to study here as the courses such as mine are not available in India.
Q :- What’s your advice to students who aspire to go to the USA for higher studies?
A :- Start planning early and apply soon.
Q :- Other than academics, what else did you learn from the country USA?
A :- Learning to live an Independent life. I also think that is more important than the subject matter I learn here.
Q :- How are the studies in the USA different than the studies in India ?
A :- Totally different. The method of test taking, class participation, and team work is fully different, but easily adaptable for the Indian students.
Q :- Is it worth spending so much money to get a degree from the USA as compared to similar degree in India with lower costs?
A :- My degree is expensive but worth it, because it is not available in India.
Q :- What’s your advice to parents of aspiring students?
A :- Parents know best, so I do not wish to advice them, but I feel they mustn’t discourage their kids if they want to go to foreign for higher studies.
Q :- Key things to remember for parents and students while planning for the studies in the USA
A :- Funding, medical condition of student, future plans.
Q :- Any other advice to students and parents?
A :- Plan soon and work hard.
Q :- What are your future plans?
A :- After my graduation I wish to work and get involved more in the Industry.
Q :- How did you fund your higher education?
A :- I was offered a 50% scholarship, the rest I took the KGI loan here. Also the Credila loan for living expenses.
Q :- Why did you choose Credila?
A :- It was advised by my consultant and many others.
