A :- I am doing my MBA and I chose the course to upgrade my business skills.
Q :- Why did you choose the UK for higher education?
A :- I chose UK because of the high quality business schools and high quality education.
Q :- How is Aston University different than any other UK University based on whatever you have heard from your friends about?
A :- Aston Business School is one of the top ranked institutes in the world and it provides world class education. It has for itself the rare triple accreditation which only 1% of the business school in the world possess.
Q :- Are you happy with your decision?
A :- I am very much delighted with my decision.
Q :- Please share some of your experiences of the UK for aspiring students
A :- UK is a very interesting country, where they respect and invite diversity into their culture, one never feels out of place, one can find people from all parts of the world. The crime rate is much lower than in any other country.
Q :- What’s your advice to students who aspire to go to the UK for higher studies?
A :- UK for MBA could be the best choice. UK has some the finest business schools in the world.
Q :- Other than academics, what else did you learn from the country UK?
A :- Learnt the diversity among friends from different countries in the world. Learnt to unlearn and be open to new ideas and keep updating oneself to be on the top.
Q :- How are the studies in the UK different than the studies in India ?
A :- The studies in the UK are both academic and case based. The significant aspect of diverse mix of different nationals is missing in India. One gets to learn alot from the diversity.
Q :- Is it worth spending so much money to get a degree from the UK as compared to similar degree in India with lower costs?
A :- I think degree from the UK and of the school from which I will be graduating will be of International recognition than that of an Indian degree.
Q :- What’s your advice to parents of aspiring students?
A :- They need to first choose what the student wants to study and do a thorough analysis of the reputation, subjects, rankings, accreditations etc of the schools before sending their children abroad.
Q :- Key things to remember for parents and students while planning for the studies in the UK
A :- These days part time jobs are most difficult to get and never send a child thinking that he or she would get a part time job to manage the monthly living expenses. It is really difficult to get a part time job, although some manage to get one.
Q :- What are your future plans?
A :- My future plans are to get into a fortune 500 company to start my career.
Q :- How did you fund your higher education?
A :- I got my education funded by Credila.
Q :- Why did you choose Credila
A :- I chose Credila because of the low interest rate firstly, secondly because I did not need to have a margin money, thirdly they were flexible with the collaterals, and fourth I was satisfied with the processing of the loan in time.
