B-schools accept PTE as English tester

Kolkata, July 9 : PTE Academic, an English language proficiency test developed by Pearson group, has been granted acceptance by Harvard Business School
. Other leading business schools, namely, Stanford, Yale, INSEAD and ISB, Hyderabad, and organizations such as the UK Border Agency have also agreed to accept PTE Academic scores.




PTE Academic, launched late last year, is already recognised, or in the process of being recognised, by more than 1500 programs worldwide.

A test of truly international English, PTE Academic is endorsed by the Graduate Management Admission Council GMAC, the owners of the Graduate Management Admission test GMAT.

"The fast- growing acceptance of this test, which is endorsed by GMAC , is testimony to the fact that it setting a new standard in academic English language testing," said Mr. John K Philip, Regional Director (SAARC Countries), Pearson Language Tests.

PTE Academic is an international computer-based academic English language test.
